Dr. Robert J. Perelli is deeply committed to helping people understand and apply the principles of Family Systems Theory to their personal and professional lives.
Developed in the later half of the twentieth century, Family Systems Theory, or Bowen Theory as it is often called, sees difficult human behavior in terms of a network of interlocking relationships rather than a troubled individual. This “new way of thinking” helps develop leadership and avoids the need to find a scapegoat to blame.
As the founder of The Center for Family Systems Theory of WNY, Bob has provided countless hours of counseling, training and consulting services to families, institutions and businesses for over 30 years.
He is excited to be part of a team of legal experts and creative educators who are interested in helping family businesses prosper both economically and emotionally. Upon joining the strategic partnership at D/21 Bob said, “I know that a Family Systems point of view will be an invaluable addition to the broad array of services that our team will offer to the family enterprise.”
